Dandelions II, 2026

Acrylic on Canvas

7 x 5 in.

The Dandelions series began with the overlapping circles of light created by bokeh. I layered dandelions—often considered weeds, but some of my favorite flowers—over the light to create a whimsical, imagined environment that does not exist in reality. The series explores the space between what is observed in nature and what can be invented through painting.
